It is for whole school assembly.</strong> It contains: PowerPoint Presentation Teacher’s Guide on how to conduct the assembly Playscript of the Parable Posters for display Cross-curricular to Religious Studies and Citizenship. The theme is ‘forgiveness’ based on The Parable of the Lost Son. Learning Objective: To understand what forgiveness means. Children are asked why we should say ‘sorry’ and understand the meaning of forgiveness and understanding. The children are asked about their own experience of getting hurt and wanting that person to say sorry and what it feels like if they don’t apologize. They are taken through the story and asked questions along the way. I’ve written a playscript based on the story.
